| Job Description: |
Develop in depth understanding of project documents (SLA, LFA, budget, proposal) as well as business process / for planning & implementation of project activities. - Conduct psychosocial assessment and screening of widowed families through individual assessment. Along with initial psychosocial assessment s/he will conduct emotional health assessment as per need.
- Conduct group and individual level psychosocial counselling of widowed families.
Provide counselling services through static clinic and with mobile teams - Maintain data base of beneficiaries and individual
- Develop resource material like counselling session manuals for psychosocial sessions with widowed families
- Develop and design IEC material in the line with project document for community based counselling with the help of internal/ external stakeholders
- Conduct motivational sessions to enhance and develop the capacity of the targeted groups
- Contribute towards establishing appropriate methodologies and approaches for post-traumatic stress disorder counselling and emotional support for affected families
- Establish and maintain accurate and confidential records and train program staff to continue this process beyond the time frame of this intervention
- Collect impact oriented case studies and other documents for project visibility
- Carry out area mapping for the identification of psychosocial service providers
- To ensure the sustainability, built effective linkages with free psychosocial services providers
- Facilitate referral mechanism with institutions/organizations working on mental & emotional health
