Job Overview
- He will oversee all events in the best interest of AWT and will ensure that all events are successful and cost effective. The Manager will provide professional leadership, guidance & management to its support staff and will be overall in-charge of the BU.
- Reports to: ED Services, AWT
Responsibilities and Duties
- Managing & coordinating operations/activities of the Business Unit.
- Provides clear and concise communications to everyone having ownership in the success of the event
- Keep a watch on prevailing market trends/ rates and purchase good quality products at reasonable rates as compared to its competitors
- Closely monitor the safety of the guests and staff through execution of food safety and BU’s safety standards and guidelines and have a good working knowledge of all equipment and efficiently takes care of preventative maintenance including cleanliness and wastage
- Completion of forecast and actual budget function sheets, summary sheets and weekly payroll input
- He will be responsible for planning, organizing, sales & marketing activities of the BU
- He will devise sales and marketing strategies in order to generate maximum sales, revenue and capture maximum market share
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, food, health and safety and other statutory regulations.
- He will ensure quality service is being rendered to the valuable clients
- His responsibilities will also include directing staff, prepare budgets, collecting fees, solving complaints, overseeing maintenance, preparing financial reports, updating records, negotiating contracts, and approving marketing campaigns
- Develop smart and skilled team members and effectively manage, motivate and direct team members, including technicians, support staff and other stakeholders
- Will offer exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by efficient services and taking care of any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally
- Assists or performs administrative tasks as assigned by AWT’s Management
- He will ensure quality service is being rendered to the valuable clients He should have hands on experience in supply chain management & contract management with third parties for outsourcing any activity as and when required
