IRC has been working in Pakistan for over 37 years, and manages and delivers large, complex programs to meet the needs in health, education, protection, environmental health and livelihoods for displaced, poor and disaster affected communities. IRC works in partnership with local government and non-governmental organizations and currently works in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan and Sindh provinces.

Job Overview/Summary: Intern will be based in Human Resources department under the guidance and supervision of the HR Manager. S/he will learn through practical work and perform the administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor. S/he will follow the plan of their work and seek guidance where required. Intern will prepare and submit the end of internship evaluation to hi lighter their learning, work performed and personal attributes that will be recorded in their file.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in filing of documents into respective files.
  • Support in keeping record for leaves, time sheets and staff exit management.
  • Process documents for sectors head review and approvals.
  • Support in preparation of files for new hires: tagging them & placing them in proper order in the cabinets.
  • Assist in the preparation of IRC ID Cards and share with individuals.
  • Provide support in copying, scanning of documents as and when required.
  • Keeping record of documents being dispatched to other IRC offices.
  • Ensure entire confidentiality of staff records and any information.
  • Participate in professional training and development activities
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements:

a)      Education:

·         Master’s degree/MS in Human Resource

b)      Work Experience:

 Internship opportunity is open for fresh university graduates in the relevant academic background

c)       Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

·        Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. 

·        Innovative, learning attitude

d)      Language Skills:  English, Urdu
