Responsible for providing direct patient care in the designated area and ensure compliance with policies & procedures.
¨ Provide direct care to patients i.e. students & teachers based on holistic approach
¨ Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures
¨ Assist Medical Officer with physical examination and treatments
¨ Monitoring & administering medication
¨ Ensure Nursing Care Plan is updated and document on regular basis.
¨ Keeps and documents events of patients care using the nursing process approach.
¨ Check vitals of assigned patients as and when required.
¨ Document patient care services by charting in patient and records.
¨ Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
¨ Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary approach
¨ Perform clinical nursing procedures as when required.
¨ Protect patients by adhering to infection control guidelines & protocols, sterile instruments and storage procedures
¨ Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological support.
¨ Administer blood and blood product transfusion.
¨ Be aware of the current practices and protocols of patient care.
¨ Assist patient for fall risk
¨ Ensure the confidentiality of patients.
¨ Greet and introduce self to patient and offer help as needed.
¨ Readiness for new learning and challenges.
¨ Sound clinical knowledge and level of technical skills.
¨ Assessment, planning and evaluation of patient care.
¨ Effective utilization of time, material and supplies.
¨ Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for his/her patient.

¨ Ensure compliance of Infection Control Practices, safe patient care practices & hand hygiene practices.
