OVERVIEW OF POSITION
· To perform any other duties as requested by the Logistics Coordinator (Capital) and Logistics Coordinator (ISB).
· To support all logistic personnel working for ACTION AGAINST HUNGER within the base.
· In case of war, civil disturbance or arbitrary malicious intent, in consultation with the Logistics Coordinator, communications and other capital equipment, either by disabling it, hiding it, or by driving it to safety, under the condition that this effort does not jeopardise the personal safety of any staff involved.
· To participate in process all logistics processes under supervision of Senior Logistics Coordinator, including warehousing, communications and transport, as well as the related administrative procedures, for ACTION AGAINST HUNGER operations.
· To implement IT systems, in accordance with ACTION AGAINST HUNGER policies and procedures.
OBJECTIVES
Objective 1
Supervise equipment security and the use of the mission's IT Resources
Tasks & responsibilities
- Ensuring workstations adhere to IT standards.
- Ensuring antivirus software usage guidelines are respected, that updates are deployed at individual workstations and that antivirus protection is constantly monitored.
- Supervising the data back-up system (back-up policy).
- Installing and maintaining local networks in the mission according to standards (router, Wifi AP, NAS server, Internet modem).
- Maintaining computers, printers/scanners and conducting daily/monthly checks to ensure that maintenance tasks have been executed;
- Responding to daily requests to modify email addresses; NHF Access & LINK User group.
- Capitalising data and procedures related to the use of IT resources and networks and communicating this information upstream to line management.
Objective 2
Improve the efficiency of IT resource use
· To be carried out as specified in the “Kitlog” (Logistics Kit) under the supervision of the Logistics Coordinator in collaboration with the IT and telecommunications managers at the Paris headquarters or the head of IT and communications in the mission
Objective 3
The IT Officer is responsible for Regular Tasks
Tasks & responsibilities
- Resolving everyday user problems;
- Providing users with software support for sharing files, emails etc;
· Suggesting IT resources that could be implemented to improve user work efficiency in accordance with ACF standards;
· Reporting problems encountered and solutions implemented
Objective 4
Supervision, Monitoring and Management of Equipment and Inventory Management
Tasks & responsibilities
· Follow-Up of Equipment Register and all assets inside the mission.
· IT Equipment’s maintenance and repair in Mission.
· Make sure all IT Equipment’s in the missions are maintained and repaired according to the ACF procedures
· Ensure that ID cards are opened after purchase of any new equipment and equipment tagging is done immediately to ensure good tracking system.
· Inform finance for the new items purchased for insurance purposes
- Prepare any technical items to be sent to the projects and ensuring it is in good working order with the necessary transport documents through the right channel as per nature of equipment and sensitivity.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory
Master's Degree: MCS / Ms (CS / IT), Minimum Overall 04 years (2 Year in Development Sector)
OR
Bachelor's degree: BCS / Bs (CS / IT), Minimum Overall 06 years (4 Year in Development Sector)
Preference
