Job Description:

Tasks & responsibilities

· Overall responsible for the quality of data collection in the and supportive role within the team in all aspects

· Support the teams in field level household sampling and data collection accordingly

· Responsible for verification of all data collection form field.

· Support the team to ensure proper sampling and quality data collection

· Develop suitable tools and database templates

· Enter data into designed database and quality checks on hard and soft data

· Process and analyze the data in close consultation with technical manager

· Provide daily reports of the collected data quality for correction and better outcome to the teams in supervision of technical manager.

· Check and verify the data in hard before entering to database and to rectify the data errors regularly

· Provide daily updates and of work and entries done throughout the working hours

· Guide the teams to travel to assigned areas and clusters for activities

· Responsible that all the tools are in place on daily bases, also verification at field level of data collection tools

· Provide daily report and feedback session to his/her teams

· Conduct daily/weekly session with reporting team to give feedback

· Attend daily meetings with team and with technical manager to discuss challenges

· Focus groups discussion and key informant interviews with community and Govt staff

· Manage any other issues related to the task in the field during data collection and report to technical manager.

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIP

Internal

Under the guidance of Senior MEAL Manager
In coordination with: enumerators, MEAL associate Program and support team.

External

N/A

REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES

· Reporting of validated data with technical manager

· Validation of high quality data (data cleaning, analysis, summarization of findings for report writing)

· Finalization and submitting of final reports to MEAL department

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum graduation or preferable post-graduation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

· Good knowledge in computer software such as Excel, ACCESS etc.

· Knowledge of written and spoken English and local languages

· Proven ability to work as part of a team

Good experience team management and monitoring in nutrition, Food Security, WASH and other programs

PREFERRED

Previous experience with nutrition, WASH and Food security program, community-based work, nutrition assessment is preferable

· Preference will be given to local area candidates
