Job Description:

Position Summary


Under the supervision of DRR Infrastructure Engineer the construction site supervisor will be responsible for survey  and supervision of construction/rehabilitation of DRR and WASH Infrastructure as per the standards and norms in the target villages under IRC Sindh BDRP project


Job Responsibilities


1.       Survey, site selection, Estimation Layout & Supervision of  Construction/Rehabilitation of small to medium and medium to large DRR/ Livelihood infrastructure scheme at village and UC level.


2.       Designing, Survey, Estimation Layout & Supervision of culvert.


3.       Survey, Layout & Supervision of Installation/Construction of disaster resilient hand pumps.


4.       Survey, Layout & Supervision of Construction of disaster resilient model household shelters.


5.       Organize, and accomplish work Inspect project sites to monitor progress, implement activities effectively and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.


6.       Provide technical support to mason during field.


7.       Keep technical and financial records of the construction activities.


8.       Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
