Job Description:

Position Overview:

Shifa International Hospital intends to “Adopt a Community” in its vicinity to provide healthcare and associated services to its residents irrespective of business expectations. It is looking for a program lead who is able to engage the selected community members for health-related services. The candidate is expected to reach out to community members and establish linkage between employer and local community through continuous data gathering and also develop a mechanism to work closely with the identified groups to cater their healthcare needs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reach the community members for safe wellbeing condition programs including fundamental abilities-based instruction
  • Initiate preventive medicinal services, maternal, neonatal, child wellbeing programs
  • Engage local community for emergency response system, hospital discounts, first aid telephonic hotline, home health services (pharmacy home delivery, lab sample collection, on call doctors and nurses at home)
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate group meetings at varying locations.
  • Provide community education, resource and referral information at schools or different sites, and other sites as needed.
  • Oversee the collection of monthly statistics and compilation of quarterly and annual community engagement data.
  • Develop & oversee increased utilization of volunteers to support community engagement.
  • Act as liaison between Shifa International Hospital and community partners, local residential community, schools and colleges.
  • Coordinate schedules for community engagement activities, presentations, events, and meetings.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will be an MBBS (Medical Graduate) and Masters in Public Health (MPH) from reputed institutions with a minimum of three years of experience in public health
  • Must have excellent communication and data collection skills
  • Is apt in data analyze data and has ability convert it into meaningful information
  • Should be able to develop and implement programs for community engagement
  • Can significantly increase outreach of services of employer
  • Has the ability identify and deliver to individual’s healthcare needs?
